Climate Reality Action Fund Launches $650k Digital Ad Buy Calling On Representatives in Georgia and Pennsylvania to Pass the Build Back Better Act

Washington, DC (September 16, 2021) – Today, the Climate Reality Action Fund (CRAF) announced the launch of a digital advertising campaign calling on elected leaders to vote yes on the Build Back Better Act and pass a budget that meaningfully addresses the climate crisis.

Digital advertisements in Georgia and Pennsylvania urge Rep. Lucy McBath (GA-06), Rep. Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-07), Rep. Susan Wild (PA- 07), Rep. Matt Cartwright (PA-08), and Rep. Mike Doyle (PA-18) to support meaningful climate action and high-paying jobs for their communities via this landmark piece of legislation.

In Washington, DC, ads will also call upon Congress to pass a budget that makes significant investments to cut pollution, create jobs, address environmental justice, and tackle the climate crisis.

“The Build Back Better Act and the budget reconciliation process are our best opportunity to make bold steps to combat the climate crisis now, while creating thousands of jobs around the country,” said Ken Berlin, CEO of the Climate Reality Action Fund. “We do not have time to waste. Congress must act to pass the Build Back Better Act, and the votes of these five representatives will be key to taking the next step towards meaningful policies to combat the climate crisis.”

The campaign will begin running today and conclude following the House of Representatives’ vote on the Build Back Better Act.
